CEO
Thor Jørgen Guttormsen has held various positions within the Höegh group since 1973. He has been president for Leif Höegh & Co AS since 1992 and Leif Höegh & Co Limited since 2003.He took the position as CEO for Höegh Autoliners AS when all aspects of the Ro/Ro operations were merged into Höegh Autoliners in March 2005.

Roar Flom was employed by Leif Höegh & Co ASA (LHC) in 1989. In 1993 he became the Finance Director of Bona Shipholding Ltd., a stocklisted company in which LHC held a controlling interest. He moved back to LHC in 1999, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2000 and is now member of the top managment group in Höegh Autoliners.

Yngvil Åsheim has been employed since 2002 as Fleet Manager for the Ro/Ro vessels in Höegh Fleet Services (HFS). In January 2004 she was appointed President of HFS. December 2007 she took over the as responsible for Global Operation & Ship management in Höegh Autoliners. She has been a member of the top managment group since 2005. She came to Höegh from Det norske Veritas (DNV) in 2002. Åsheim has a degree (Master of Science) in mechanical engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology.

Ingar Skiaker has held various commercial and operational positions in HUAL/Höegh Autoliners starting in 1981. For a 10 year period up to 2004 he worked within other industries and as a management consultant. He has been in charge of Capacity Management since 2006 and been a member of the top management group since 2007.

Øyvind Ervik joined Höegh-Ugland Autoliners in 1984. He was stationed in the Middle East from 1987 until 1990. He became SVP Commercial for Höegh Lines' container/break bulk service in 1997. He rejoined Höegh Autoliners in 2000, and has held various positions before being appointed SVP Commercial and member of Top Management Group in 2008. Ervik holds a degree in Business Administration from Oslo Business School.

Henning Denstad came to Höegh Autoliners from Siemens in April 2004. He holds a degree in Business Administration from BI Norwegian School of Management and a MSc in Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Gary Shoesmith joined LHC in November 2007. After completing 16 years in British Gas, holding various technical and management positions, he joined Det Norske Veritas as HR Manager in the UK. After four years, he transferred to Oslo in the role of HR Manager, DNV Maritime for three years, followed by a further three year assignment as HR Director for DNV Industry. Shoesmith has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master Degree in Personnel Management and is a member of the Top Management Group.

Olav Sollie was employed by Leif Höegh & Co ASA (LHC) in 1999. He came from a position as commercial director in Bona Shipholding (1997-1999) and before that as newbuilding broker with Fearnleys (1987-1997). Sollie holds a degree (Master of Science) in mechanical engineering (Naval Architecture) from the Norwegian Institute of Technology.

Steinar Nyrud has been employed since 2005 as General Counsel for the Company. He came from the lawfirm Wiersholm, Mellbye & Bech where he assisted in a number of IPOs and merger and acquisitions in addition to providing general corporate advice. He has previous to that been Legal Counsel with Nycomed Amersham and also worked as Senior Executive Officer with the Ministry of Industry and Energy in Norway. Steinar Nyrud is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association and he has a law degree from University of Oslo in 1993 including a EU specialisation from University of Edinburgh.

Tore Røysheim joined HUAL AS in January 2002 as head of Strategy and Business Development. He came from a position as Director Projects in The Torvald Klaveness Group (1999-2002) and before that a Senior Manager in Accenture (1994-1999). Røysheim holds a Master of Science degree (Siviløkonom) in Business Administration from Norwegian School of Management (NHH) and a BA degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has also completed the IEP at INSEAD.
