Pertamina and Hoegh LNG have a long standing business relationship leading back to 1983, when the parties signed a time charter agreement for the vessel Hoegh Gandria, with Pertamina as charterer and Hoegh LNG as part owner and operator. This was a 20-year time charter agreement with commencement in 1986. (It was extended by one year and the vessel is due to be redelivered to the owner by 18 March 2008).
