Höegh LNG announced today that it has awarded Front End engineering and Design (FEED) contracts to CB&I for the topside facilities and to Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) for the hull, utilities and integration work for Höegh LNG’s FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) project. In addition a separate agreement has been signed between Höegh LNG and CB&I for CB&I's Niche LNG Technology. Oslo, May 28, 2008 - Gaz de France and Höegh LNG AS have signed a Joint Development Agreement related to the design, the construction supervision and the operation of a vessel used as a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU-vessel). Höegh LNG and CB&I Lummus today announced that they have concluded a strategic and exclusive agreement for the next phase of Höegh LNG’s FPSO project (Floating Production Storage and Offloading). The agreement formally ties the parties for a period of 2 years, where Höegh LNG will have exclusive rights to CB&I Lummus’ patented “Niche LNG” liquefaction technology for its LNG FPSO projects.
